    United States of America. Idaho. Butte Co. South-central portion of the INEL, vicinity of Power Burst Facility, 2 miles northeast of Lincoln on Jefferson, lava ridge ca. 1/2 mile east of road.

  • Habitat

    Slope 0-30%, aspect E-S. Community: Artemisia tridentata wyomingensis, Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, Poa sandbergii, Bromus tectorum, and Sitanion hystrix. Also present: Phlox hoodii, Langloisia setosissima, and Astragalus lentiginosus. Small population (20-30 plants) mostly on crest or upper slopes of ridge. Soil shallow silt over volcanic pebbles and rocks.
