    United States of America. Wyoming. Sweetwater Co. Green River Basin: ridge system ca. 1-1.3 miles northeast of Whalen Bottom and the Green River, ca. 2.5-3 miles east of the city of Green River and 2.5-2.8 miles west of Wilkins Peak radio tower.

  • Habitat

    South-facing slope of gray shale-clay (Green River Formation) with surface of slate fragments. Community of cushion plants (mostly Cymopterus terebinthinus, Haplopappus armerioides) and Elymus sp. (possibly E. salinus). Bare soil cover ca. 40-50%, rock cover 20-40%, & vegetative cover 10-30%.
