Habitat
South-facing slope of gray shale-clay (Green River Formation) with surface of slate fragments. Community of cushion plants (mostly Cymopterus terebinthinus, Haplopappus armerioides) and Elymus sp. (possibly E. salinus). Bare soil cover ca. 40-50%, rock cover 20-40%, & vegetative cover 10-30%.
