Sandstone rocks, with open sand flatter areas; open scrub in exposed sites to scattered low woodland.

Description
Rosette herb with rigid grey leaves and scapes to 25 cm; scapes grey; involucral bracts palest brown. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
