Brazil. Bahia. Serra do Sincorá. 2-3 km approximately SW of Mucugé on the road to Cascavel.

Habitat
Open scrub on white sand with damp areas and extensive sedge meadow. Partly burnt over. This plant a weed of cultivation.

Description
Herb to 1 m. Leaves soft, aromatic, rather dull green above, paler beneath. Calyx reddish-tinged. Corolla pink with darker lower lip and darker interrupted longitudinal lines within on upper and lower lips. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
