Description
Slender, solitary, short-stemmed, litter trapping palm. Stem c. 1.5cm diameter. Leaves c. 9 in crown, entire bifid. Crownshaft absent, sheaths rather open. Inflorescences few to numerous, up to 150cm long. Fruit ellipsoid, c. 10mm x 6mm, pericarp somewhat uneven, thin and juicey. Endosperm homogeneous. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
