Habitat
Steep-sided valley between massive red sandstone hills. Disturbed dry forest on slopes, with Cariniana estrellensis, Terminalia triflora, Weinmannia sorbifolia.

Description
Tree. Leaves new and somewhat coppery green, making this species easily visible here now, although some plants have more normal green leaves. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Buds only. A few of the characteristic brown woody fruits still hanging on the upper part of the tree
