Virgin semi-deciduous forest, low rolling topography.

Description
One of dominant trees, 10 m tall. Flowers cauliflorous, borne below tuts of terminal leaves; leaves chartaceous, deep green above, dull green below; flowers fragrant; petals pale rose without, white within, 5 cm long, 2.2 cm wide, staminal ring creamy white with white filaments and yellow anthers; calyx tube pale green; edicels nodding, recurved at tip. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
