  • Description

    Plants with many prostrate stems from a perennial taproot, forming a rosette mat on the surface of the ground, the peduncles more or less assurgent. Corolla lavender-purple, the banner marked with white. Pads marked with reddish brown on a greenish background, firm, compressed at right angles to the plane of the sutures, 1-celled, broadly and shallowly sulcate on the non-seed-bearing suture. Leaves blue-glaucous. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower, Fruit.
