    On gentle southeast-facing slope. With Juniperus, Ephedra and Oryzopsis. In gravelly (igneous) soil.

  • Description

    Ill-scented perennials, slightly woody at base, to 1 m tall; herbage sparsely hirtellous to nearly glabrous, dull green; all leaves petiolate, all but the uppermost deeply pinnatifid; petals bright yellow, the blades to 2 mm wide, the claws densely villous on inner surfaces; stipes to 15 mm long; mature fruits divergent and arcuate. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower, Fruit.
