Slopes with dry forest of Parapiptadenia excelsa, Acacia aroma, Schinopsis, Cnicothamnus lorentzii. Roadside on bare red sandstone gravel and sand.

Flowers odorless (10:50 A.M., cloudy) or some plants seem to have fragrant flowers; corolla white with purple-green star, or some plants without star; anthers yellow. Calyx Nicandra-like; fruit green-mottled. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
