  • Description

    Sometimes creeping over the ground, but climbs whenever there is support and tightly appressed to trunks by adventitious roots, then with horizontal stems to 0.8 m. long sticking out. Leaves distichous and the flowers held below them. Flowers with not very pleasant light sharp uriny odor; corolla violet, the tips of the lobes much paler; anthers yellow, very unequal.
