This plant on rocks. Sandstone, metamorphic and quartzite rock outcrops with associated marsh and damp flushes.

Description
Spindly shrub to ca. 1 m. Leaves rugose, glossy bright-green above, pale beneath. Calyx lurid yellow-green with darker hairs. Petals bright orange. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
