Sandstone rocks, with open sand in flatter areas. Open scrub in exposed sites to scattered low woodland. This plant in shade, on rocks.

Fern with creeping rhizome and scattered fronds. Lamila pale glaucous. Sori pale brown. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
