Sagebrush steppe. Slope: 60%; Aspect: 314°. With Chrysothamnus, Poa sandbergii, Phlox hoodii, Eriophyllum lanatum, Eriogonum, Castilleja, Artemisia, Oenothera caespitosa. Locally common. Soil: Gravelly, sandy, light-colored.
