    In small soil pockets on north-facing quartzite talus slope. With Geum, Selaginella and Silene.

  • Description

    Erect perennials from simple rootstocks; sepals 5, purplish, sparsely pilose with pale hairs; petals yellow, to 12 mm long x 12 mm wide; nectary scale fused to petal on 3 sides to form a pocket; styles to 0.7 mm long; achenes glabrous. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
