    Sagebrush steppe. Slope: 40°; Aspect: 321°. With Astragalus, Artemisia tridentata, Phlox, Poa sandbergii, Sitanion hystrix. Common. Soil: Sandy, fine-textured, light colored.

  • Description

    Flowers past anthesis, but were possibly white in color. Pods very light greenish-whitish with brown striping. Plant evidently glandular. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Snake River Plain, uplands along Snake River, ca. 6.4 air-km. SW from center of
Hagerman, in Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument. Flowers past anthesis,
but were possibly white in color. Pods very light greenish-whitish with brown
striping. Plant evidently glandular. With Astragalus, Artemisia tridentata, Phlox,
Poa sandbergii, Sitanion hystrix. Common. POL. Packard note: ”1 assigned to this
variety but I was unable to examine flower lobes and auricles.”
