Description
solitary. Pileus 8.5 cm broad, plane, dry, subtomentose, red to deep red. Flesh pale yellow, with some pinkish zones (but not because of oxidation reaction), unchanging, with mild odor and taste. Hymenophore tubulose, adnexed. Tubes olive green, unchanging; pores concolorous or slightly more yellow, sometimes with a pale pink to pale red tint, unchanging. Stipe 7 cm long, 12 mm broad, slightly broader below, then tapering, dry, reticulate, pale yellow above and subpruinose between the reticula, pinkish to reddish below, pale yellow mycelium at base; interior pale yellow to pinkish to pale reddish, unchanging. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
