    Heavily grazed and modified roadside spring with water tank and trough. 5° SW-facing meadow-like drainage on pumice soil over basalt bedrock. Wet areas dominated by Carex nebrascensis, closely surrounded by Populus tremuloides woodland. Uplands of Pinus jeffrryi forest with Artemisia tridentata/Purshia tridentata understory. Common in dry disturbed open areas in scrub.
