  • Description

    Pileus1.5-5 cm broad, infundibuliform to spathulate, tough, radially rugulose, concentrically zonate, brown with white to pinkish buff margin. Flesh dark pinkish brown with concentric zones; odor pungent, taste farinaceous. Hymneophore dentate with short pale pinkish buff to pinkish brown, blunt spines, bruising brown especially near the pileus margin. Stipe 2-4 cm long, 5-8 mm broad, equal to tapering downward, tough, central to lateral, tomentose, pinkish buff, bruising brown. Basidiomata often fused.; notes on box from Violeta Patiñ-Conde MEXU 05 Oct 2010. Phenology of specimen: basidiomata.
