Disjunct area of campo cerrado, degraded, scattered shrubs & small trees to 2 m. tall. Reddish brown sandy clay soil.

Description
1-2 1/2 m. tall, stems single from ground or in clumps of a few stems each, the stems separate from the base. Ray & disk fls. yellow. Phenology of specimen: fertile.
