10% slope, southern exposure. Partially open understory in Pseudotsuga menziesii/ Spiraea betulifolia community; occasional with Berberis repens, Amelanchier alnifolia, Pinus contorta and Pinus ponderosa. Occasional. Humus over gravelly sand.
