Description
Tree 45-50 ft, straight bole ± 9 inch dbh; wood yellow; bark grayish, checkered (10 mm x 0.5 mm) with unusual pattern of lichens of many colors; buds ferruginous-sericeous; infruct. brown-ferrugineous; fruit green, scattered, red cupule with small, brown warts; flowers (post anthesis) and inflorescence brown-ferrugineous. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
