roots and stems	Preventative, of tooth abcess. Boil 2 roots in
1.5 qt of water for 10-15 min.
with a 6’ piece of stem. Wash
the gums every 30 min. until no
pain. Contraindication: don’t use
if pregnant.
leaves	Antirheumatic. Heat leaves for rheumatism.
Place directly on the back twice
daily. Avoid cold water baths,
leaves+stems	Edible. Stems eaten like celery and leaves

stems	Tea. Boil stems in water. Drink as a
