Dominican Republic. Independencia. Sierra de Neiba, along the Carretera Internacional near the crest of the range, along the Haitian border, vic. line between Indepencia and San Rafael Provinces.

Habitat
In deep, steep-sided sinkholed in essentially virgin rain-forest on limestone mountains. Moist, diffusely lit walls of large sinkholes.
