Habitat
Western face of sandstone serra with horizontally bedded rocks. Extensive grassland & march on lower slopes and small streams with low woodland. Rock outcrops at high altitudes, with humid forest in rocky declivity below summit. This plant growing in forest.

Description
Tree to 5 m. high. Leaves coriaceous, glossy mid-green above, very pale beenath. young fruit pale green tinged purple, swelling and turning white. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
