    On gentle west-facing slope. With Pinus, Quercus and Juniperus. In rocky (Coconino Sandstone) soil.

  • Description

    Plants perennial from unbranched caudices; leaves all in a basal rosette appresed to the ground surface; herbage with coarse, long-stalked, simple to branched trichomes; petals yellow; styles to 2 mm long; fruits to 7 mm long and 2.5 mm wide, with simple to unequally bifurcate trichomes. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
