    Scrubby vegetation of small trees and shrubs. Very rocky hillside, with sandstone rocks, and rocky river.

    Small tree to 5m-6m. Leaves rugose, dark green slightly glossy above. Leaves dull paler green beneath, with midrib chestnut brown, young shoots chestnut brown. Sepals green, purplish on outer surface. Petals white, filaments white below, reddish-purple above. fruit dark purple. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
