    East-facing slope. Oxytropis besseyi in anthesis and extremely abundant. Also: Potentilla, Cerastium, Myosotis alpestris, Eriogonum ovalifolium, Festuca idahoensis, Agropyron scribneri, Polygonum bistortoides, Poa fendleriana, Carex norvegica, Agoseris glauca, Linum lewisii, and a few Potentilla fruticosa. Very shallow soil, with much gravela and larger rocks.
