    Terra firme forest near newly opened unpaved access road, undulating terrain. Soil sandy in many places. Occasional. No Guadua, but strong presence of Bertholletia and Tetragastris altissima s.l.

    Tree. Tree 30m x 35cm, outer bark brown, finely fissured, shed in thin small plates, trunk sulcate at base, inner bark dull yellow, slightly fibrous. Corolla yellow, anthers green. Photo. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
