Habitat
Forest on gently undulating terrain, alternating between (1) dense forest with strong presence (but not dominance) of Guadua sarcocarpa that died back 22 years ago, and (2) "baixio" (forest in low-lying area with waterlogged soils). Frequent.

terrestrial herb. Few fertile. By trail. Succulent terrestrial herb to 70 cm, leaves red-purple below, calyx pale green, corolla pale yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
