Habitat
With Agave utahensis, Juniperus, Yucca brevifolia, Ferrocactus, Prunus fasciculata, Coleogyne, Ephedra, Larrea, Thamnosma, Eriogonum spp., buckhorn Opuntia and Chrysothamnus.

Description
Woody shrub about 0.5 m tall and 0.5 m in diameter, bark grey, stringy, twigs white. Phenology of specimen: Flower and Fruit.
