Habitat
On north facing, nearly vertical cliffs, where moist, growing mostly on moss cushions or in clumps of Saxifraga oppositifolia.

Description
Petals white, narrowly elliptic, mostly shorter than the sepals; calyx shallowly bowl-shaped; staminoda with mostly only 1 lobe above the scale, sometimes with 2 or with 2 very short rudiments only about half as long as the stamens. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
