Montane forest. Under Alnus jorullensis. Gregarious. On soil.

Description
Pileus 1.5-4.5 cm broad, broadly convex-papillate when young, moist, hygrophanous, 8E8 fading to 7D8-7D7, then near 6C7, glabrous to naked eye, but barely and shortly subvelutinous with a lens, umbilicate and plane with age, rugulose striate 1/3 way to disc. Flesh thin, ±2(3) mm, ±concolorous with cap; odor pungent and waxy sweet, taste slightly acrid. Latex watery white, not changing or staining. Lamellae subdecurrent, close, edges even, 6C4-7B3. Stipe 3.5-7 cm long, 3-7 mm wide, ±equal to slightly broader below, ±glabrous, 7C7-6C7 at apex, eventually 9E8 overall; interior hollow. Spores white in thin deposit.
