Southwest exposure, ca. 10° slope. Gutierrezia sarothrae, Cowania mexicana, Pinus monophylla, Sitanion hystrix, Hilaria jamesii, Artemisia tridentata, Quercus turbinella, Agropyron desertorum, Bromus tectorum. Frequent woody dominant. Rocky clay loam from basalt.
