Distribution
Eschscholtzia minutiflora Wats. No. 8195, collected May 7, on gravelly slopes about the mouth of Silver canyon in the White mountains opposite Laws, Inyo county. As described by Professor Greene, the plants are “weak and straggling rather than properly decumbent.” It was found only in the White mountains. Determined by Professor Greene. My no. 7672, distributed last year under this name, is no doubt E. micrantha, but it does not seem to agree with the description of that species.
