Habitat
Mostly level forest along trail.

Description
Tree 10 m tall; leaves subcoriaceous, dark green above, paler bellow; inflorescence erect, curved at tip; petals rose-salmon, lobes recurved; calyx gray green; bark irritating to tongue. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
