Habitat
Weedy roadside with herbs and shrubs. Along channel with some standing water, in open area. Disturbed semi-deciduous subtropical or chaco forest, partially cleared for pastures, with Aspidosperma cylindrocarpum, Reichenbachia hirsuta. Fine sandy and clay soil, flat.

Erect, 1.5 m tall. Heads whitish. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
