Along moist shaded base of sandstone bluffs.

Description
Corolla vermillion red; calyx dull red; petioles and scape dark wine-purple as are pedicels; leaves fleshy-membranous, deep green with sulcate nerves, silvery green to rose-lavender beneath. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
