Protected shady perennial stream in deep narrow canyon running S-N. Populus tremuloides woodland with Pinus contorta, Rosa woodsii, Ribes cereum, Epilobium angustifolium, Lupinus arbustus, Thalyctrum, Polemonium. Scattered occasionally along streambanks. Soft pumice soil with bishop tuff rhyolite outcrops above.
