Montane forest (volcanic). >Quercus brenesii> and mixed forest. Gregarious. On soil.

Description
Radicating stipe up to 14 cm long, 7 mm broad, dry, gray brown becoming furfuraceous, white in radicating portion. Pileus 3-7 cm broad, brown to dark gray brown, sulcate nearly to disc, subrugulose on disc. Lamellae white to light gray, rarely with marginate edges, adnexed to sinuate. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
