United States of America. Connecticut. Middlesex Co. Wadsworth State Park, area II on southern seepage bank of Coginhaug near Trestle.

Habitat
Grows individually and independently; very plentiful over seepage bank, as well as in more shaded portions of higher hardwood plateau. Mixed hemlock hardwood with Pteridium aquilinum, Liverworts, skunk cabbage.
