    Terrestrial and epiphyte both, on tree trunk up to 10 m tall; leaves in erect-ascending clump, gray-green above, silvery gray below; inflorescence with rachis orange-brick; heads of flowers with brown bracts; flowers minute white. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
