Habitat
Extensive blanket bog on shallow peat, with peat erosion channels & small streams eroded to acidic glacial till. Dominent plants include Sphagnum imbricatum, S. flavocomans, S. rubellum, Rhacomitrium lanuginosum, Carex exilis, C. oligosperma, Juniperus communis, Empetrum nigrum, Vaccinium vitis-idaea, Cladonia boryi, Cetraria nivalis, & Cladonia uncialis. Fontinalis in streams.
