Slightly disturbed terra firme moist forest on Quaternary sediments, near black-water stream.

Description
Coarse herb, 2 m on dry land near high-water mark of a black-water stream. Inflorescence bracts orange tipped with yellow, flowers translucent white. One dense population of about 10 individuals. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
