    Very dark green. Cultivated as Juniperus virginalis globosa. Note: This is not the J. virginalis globosa of horticultural literature. It differs from the latter by its dark green color, coarser texture of foliage, preponderance of juvenile foliage, more acute apex of adult leaves, and in the habit as described in correspondence by Mr. L. L. Kumlie. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
