  • Description

    Pileus 2-6 cm broad, obtusely conic to broadly campanulate, moist, hygrophanous, even when moist, finely rugulose subsulcate when dry, cinnamon brown (6D-E6-5) when moist, fading to grayish orange (5B3). Flesh extremely thin, white, unchanging, with mild odor and taste. Lamellae adnexed, extremely crowded, narrow and thin, white, grayish orange (5B3) with age, with subfimbriate edges. Stipe 5-14 cm long, 1-3 mm broad, strict, ±equal to broader at base, dry, pubescent overall with white hairs on gray brown ground color, with white to pale ochraceous mycelium binding substrate, with hollow interior. Phenology of specimen: Basidiomata.
