Brushy weedy areas, flat, fine sandy soil. Common in places.

Description
(Clonal??, specimens from various plants), forming stands of slender stems to 2 m. tall. Mostly young fruit and a few with open flowers; corolla white; anthers yellow. Calyx below fruit greatly swollen; fruit green, held erect. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
