Mixed restinga with high forest, bushy areas, damp open ground and marsh. This plant growing in open areas in marshy sand.

Description
Erect herb to 20 cm. Stems maroon red-flushed to green, leaves green, red flushed at apical margins. Outer tepals white, inner peach-fawn. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
