With riverine and chiefly weedy vegetation.

Description
Subshrub to ca. 1 m. with widely-spreading branches. Stems reddish. Leaves dark green above, paler beneath. Calyx teeth and ovary red-tinged. Petals deep bright yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
