    Erect shrub 2.5m. tall in disturbed, open, thicket on hillside facing the ocean. Branches stiff, horizontal. Leaves dark green, shiny, on upper surface with yellowish green midrib; light green, shiny, on lower surface. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
